Our Womens Centre is a women only space

Our womens centre has lots to offer including a small feminist library

We have a number of private spaces for you to choose from where you'll meet with one of our support team

Even our art work is women only in the centre

Another one of our meeting areas located in the main area of the womens centre, we also have plenty of room in the centre for group work.

Why a women only space?

Women and girls tell us that a women only space is important to them. That they feel safe and reassured by having a women only space.

We only employ women at Lincolnshire Rape Crisis which means all of our team including all volunteer support workers are women. When you're ready to come and see us, speak to us on the phone or email us you'll always be seeing or speaking to a woman.

We do work with men and boys but this is in a separate building. Our services for women and girls are separate to our services for men and boys.

Confidentiality

During your face to face sessions, you may be concerned about what you are going to say and whether what you say is going to be told to anyone else. Anything that is talked about in your face to face sessions is generally confidential within the organisation and will not be shared with anyone external without your permission.

These are the only times when confidentiality may be broken:

If you tell us that a child or vulnerable adult is at risk of harm.
When there is a serious risk of harm to you.
When there is a court order or other legal requirements.
If it is felt that confidentiality needs to be broken, we will generally try and discuss this with you first
